Program notes
"Fanfare" for Brass Quintet (2 B-flat trumpets, horn, trombone, and bass trombone) was commissioned in 2001 by the State University of New York at Stony Brook to celebrate the grand opening of the University's new Music Library. It was performed at the Library opening on November 28, 2001 by the Metropolitan Brass Quintet.
